Andra Clarke weaves stories from her mother’s recollections as a photographer and cigarette girl at Hollywood's ultra posh and ultra famous Ciro’s Nightclub. Ciro's was located on Sunset Boulevard, or The Strip, from 1940-1957 during Hollywood's heyday, and its patrons dined, danced and were entertained by top names of the day. Names such as Jerry Lewis, Dean Martin, Sophie Tucker, Judy Garland, Liberace, Nat King Cole, Joe E. Lewis, and Sammy Davis Jr. Elite Hollywood regulars at the club included Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Cary Grant, Humphrey Bogart, and many more. Along with research on the movie stars and other celebrities who frequented or performed there, the presentation will feature images from the private collection of Clarke's mother. Those images are compiled in Clarke's new book, Ciro’s: Nightclub of the Stars. Most of these images have never been seen before by the general public.
