McAfee has developed a technology that allows disparate technologies to communicate and share threat intelligence. Recently McAfee published this technology as an open source project which allows the industry to leverage without licensing costs. This technology aids in reducing the cost of cyber defense by leveraging the technologies that customers have invested in while providing a common information fabric to unify those technologies and align their capabilities. The brief will explain the open source technology, provide a quick DoD real-world use case, and explain how cost is reduced when technologies work together.
