Equine-assisted psychotherapy (EAP) is used in a number of clinical settings addressing mental health concerns. Horses facilitate the process of learning to connect, be in the moment, heal in relationship, and communicate more effectively. This poster session will include theory and insights gleaned from the experiences of six counseling students, as well as discussion of the application of EAP with various populations.
