In this session, the presenters will share findings from a qualitative study of the experiences of students, parents, and counselors-in-training who participated in an after-school counseling clinic in a Title 1 school. The clinic was a partnership between a school system and the counselor education program at a research university to address the unique needs of this elementary school. Students, their parents, and their counselors (practicum students) were interviewed. The presenters will share key findings and implications.
