Counseling on the U.S.-Mexico border presents unique challenges yet also represents transnational issues that affect all parts of the country. This panel discussion will address issues such as counseling immigrant populations, the effects of border violence, bilingual counseling, and opportunities for counselors in U.S.-Mexico border cities (i.e., El Paso and Juarez) to collaborate in ways to help provide services for disenfranchised groups.
