Oftentimes students enter into their clinical experiences with adequate theoretical knowledge and basic helping skills to begin their careers. However, when working with children and adolescents, students quickly learn that “talk therapy” is mostly ineffective. The purpose of this session is to demonstrate the creative process by using a variety of experiential activities. A portfolio containing hundreds of resources will be shared, and some activities will be demonstrated.
