The current times bring many leadership challenges in home care and hospice.  With the retiring baby boomer generation, opportunities exist for a new generation and the departing leaders have a responsibility to mentor, engage, and provide  vision for the incoming leaders.  This pre-conference will take a closer look at succession-planning, how to provide leadership education to a new generation that might be attracted to different aspects of the industry, and how to bring out the best in business skills for clinicians rising to management levels.  
Regardless of a leader’s background, it can be complicated to prioritize agency initiatives in a world where everything needs to be done today, and session faculty will be providing a toolkit to help navigate these challenges.
