LEAP: The SlimmerIQuiz, A (School) Quiz for Smart Children

The SlimmerIQuiz has nothing to do with weight loss; the word "slim" means clever. I hope to present to you what the SlimmerIQuiz entails, how it is organized and what Mensa the Netherlands hopes to achieve by the quiz. The quiz is designed to involve all 6th graders from all primary schools nationwide. There were 2,500 contestants last year. The questions are all designed with Blooms taxonomy in mind. The SlimmerIQuiz differs from any other quiz in the Netherlands because it involves the teachers. They have to correct the quiz, so they have to immerse themselves in the whole concept of higher level reasoning. What are your suggestions to improve the quiz and make it grow? Can we collaborate?
