Black Box is a game devised by the presenter that is designed to simulate the process of scientific discovery. One of the players assumes the role of Nature and devises a process. The other players, acting in the role of Scientists, attempt to discover the process by providing Nature with inputs to the process and observing the corresponding outputs produced by Nature. The Scientists are awarded points for discovering Nature's process, while Nature receives the most points for devising a process that is challenging but not excessively difficult. A prize will be given to the player with the highest score.
