Session 7G: Watershed and Reservoir Management to Maximize Water Supply (Room B116)

This session will explore measures taken by resource managers to enhance watershed production for increased water supply and power production. Case studies will highlight various approaches, with an emphasis on successful implementation of measures and lessons learned, including: forestry management practices, cloud seeding experience, re-examining reservoir rule curves, re-evaluating spillway requirements to enhance storage, and planning and coordinating reservoir operations in wet and dry conditions.
