This session discusses long term drift limitations of current pressure sensing technologies. It demonstrates how these limitations are important, yet underrepresented in the metrology industry. Attendees will understand the value of sensor stability and how long term drift is more important than high accuracy but harder to get, how temperature plays a dominant role in long term drift in MEMS pressure sensors and why specifications often don't tell the whole story, and calibration programs are expensive and time consuming - attendees will understand the long term drift characteristics of your sensor to limit the pain.
