Tracks: Landfill Symposium
SWANA is developing a technical policy on this issue to encourage consistent and regional regulatory approaches toward determining when the post-closure care period is complete. This session will include a discussion of the policy, how some states have addressed termination of post closure care, and the work that EREF has completed to develop a performance-based process for determining when closure activities are complete. Highlights will include case studies that demonstrate the process.
