Stanford Children’s Health is using RFID-enabled technology throughout the Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. The 521,000-square-foot, five-floor facility, which connects to the original hospital, has 361 beds. The system, which has improved the accuracy and efficiency of inventory documentation during surgical and interventional procedures, has enabled the facility to obtain real-time data on inventory levels and automated cycle counts. Learn how the use of RFID technology has significantly improved the accuracy of clinical documentation, enhanced revenue capture, reduced labor costs, and ensured higher availability of products due to nightly auto-replenishment and expired inventory management.
