A Brand New Key to Create the Perfume of Tomorrow (Room Euterpe Meeting Room - Level 3)

Hedonic qualities and positive emotions have always been the main driver of perfumers’ creativity. Today, consumers are increasingly looking for brands and products that respect both this traditional hedonic feeling and another value related at a same time to earth’s biodiversity and economic development of society. They are also willing to know how the perfume they buy can meet these two expectations at once.

Olivier and Gilles will work together on a formula during the workshop to showcase the balance between perfumer and scientist in ingredient choice and formulation. Both will discuss how a combination of advanced research, knowledge in naturals and synthetics, and creative inspiration can lead to a comprehensive sustainability measurement for fragrance creation: a new way to raise the bar in fragrance composition.
