Trailblazers: The Proliferation of Innovation (Room North 320H)

Sarasota County School's Trailblazer Program is a bottom-up innovation which is focused on the success of teachers who jump at the opportunity to use technology in their classroom. Program awardees incorporate technology into their classroom in creative ways. Trailblazer teachers become models of innovation within the district. The sharing of ideas, challenges, and successes has allowed the IT department to continue to grow this initiative. Each year, motivated teachers apply for this competitive program for the chance to become a Trailblazer for technology. Come see how teachers across our district are implementing a variety of technologies including tablets, 3D printers, Lego Mindstorms, and LabDiscs.
