The design and installation of CSST gas piping systems are governed by national model and state fuel gas codes, national product standards, manufacturer's installation instructions, and listings from national testing agencies. Many times these various governing documents are not synchronized and/or modified to suit local building practices. This presentation will review the differences between codes, standards, and instructions and discuss the latest technical requirements for protection from lightning damage.
