Sunguard Swimwear is a beach lifestyle children's wear brand offering high-coverage UPF50+ swimwear with a boutique feel. This line was created by Taylor Cordova, a mom of two living in the small surf town of Santa Cruz, CA. Sunguard Swimwear will debut on January 7th and 8th at the Swim Collective trade show in Anaheim, CA and will be shown again at the Kids Hub Las Vegas trade show hosted at Planet Hollywood on February 4th and 5th. As modern moms, we know the dangers of sun exposure and understand how important it is to teach our kids sun safety practices that will reduce their risk of developing skin cancer later in life. This does not mean we should have to stay indoors. For kids, adventuring is a lifestyle, and with Sunguard Swimwear they can play it safe and stay carefree. All swimwear in this line is made with UPF50+ fabric, meaning that it allows less than 2% UV transmission. This quality fabric is also chlorine resistant, quick drying and breathable, keeping your little one cool in the hot sun.
This line offers styles with long sleeves and high necklines to provide maximum protection. Beyond being practical, these swimsuits come in a variety of colors and prints from animals to ice cream cones, designed to match children's imaginations and playfulness.
Designer and owner, Taylor Cordova, discovered the need for a high-coverage, high-protection swimwear line during one of her many beach days with her kids, which she described as “applying and reapplying sunscreen while your 3 year old is running away.” Her love of the beach lifestyle living on the sandy coast of Santa Cruz has led to her creating this sunshine ready swimwear line that allows moms to sit back and let their kids be care free. No more chasing after sandy footprints with a bottle of sunblock in hand.
