After being in the firearms business for several years, Dubby Carr invented the Delta Kwik tool because removing the Mil-Spec A2 Handguard from and AR15 was a pain in the ass. You know, it either almost fell off or 45 minutes’ later you just gave up. A lot of tries and a year and a half later a prototype was built. We now have a tool that allows you to remove a Mil-Spec A2 Handguard in 5 seconds or less.
We started out in 2011 as Dubby's Fishing and Hunting, a small fishing and hunting shop in Harrisonburg VA. It wasn't long before our customers started asking for information on personal defense and tactical products. As we began to sell, clean and accessorize AR15's for our customers we thought there had to be an easier way to remove the Mil-Spec standard hand guard. We soon realized there there wasn't much more than luck on our side. You know, it either came off and you weren't sure how or 45 minutes later you were ready to give up.
In mid-2016 we decide to try and fix this problem. A lot of tries and a year and a half later Dubby's LLC was formed, and we had our first AR15 Hand Guard Removal Tool that works very well. Its unique design has made it simple enough to use that even someone who has never seen an AR15 can remove the Mil-Spec standard hand guard with ease for cleaning or upgrade.
To put it simply, someone with basic knowledge of an AR15 can remove the Mil-Spec A2 Hand Guard in 5 seconds or less.
