Yael Sonia launched her fine jewelry label nearly 20 years ago in São Paulo. Inspired by the kinetic movement of children's toys, Yael uses unique construction techniques combining precise geometry and engineering into her construction to shape the gems into perfect spheres and set them free of prongs or traditional settings, allowing for constant movement. The Perpetual Motion collection is a confluence of graphic lines and spherical gems that has a powerful effect on those who wear it and those who view it. The Spinning Top collection embodies precision and a playful spirit, on constant, whirling display. It took six months to develop stone cutting and construction techniques that turn rough gems into sleek spinning tops. Each one is intricately set into pendants, earrings, and rings. Once they are on the right track, things never stop moving.
