MINNEAPOLIS, MN. – University of Minnesota Athletics, UM Golden Gopher Football Program, and Waymouth Farms, Makers of Good Sense®, announce the results from their 2018 #SACKHUNGER Corporate Partnership Campaign. In concert with #GIVINGTUESDAY, Tuesday, November 27, 2018, Waymouth Farms will be donating over 2000 pounds of food to Second Harvest Heartland as they celebrate the #SEASONOFGIVING with representatives from all organizations and Gopher Athletics Mascot, Goldy Gopher, this Tuesday at Second Harvest Heartland’s new Distribution Center in Brooklyn Park, MN.
All of us at Waymouth Farms, maker of Good Sense®, are thrilled to partner with Gopher Athletics this season in our #SACKHUNGER campaign to raise awareness for Second Harvest Heartland and end hunger in Minnesota and beyond. Partnering with Second Harvest & Gopher Athletics gives more breadth to the message as both Waymouth & the University of Minnesota share a long history of philanthropy & backing local Minnesota organizations. It's exciting to see the next generation get involved in the community and take active roles in important initiatives like ending hunger.
