Avon Tyres has launched the new TrekRider motorcycle tire range combining superb off-road and on-road performance. The TrekRider is Avon's first adventure tire that offers a 50/50 split of on/off road capability. Designed for light to medium trails, the tire works as well in mud and gravel as it does on asphalt. The pattern is all new with specially designed tread blocks and channels that cut though mud, het also stay stable on pavement. A totally enhanced construction on the cross play and radial carcasses give impressive high speed stability for freeways, yet retains the compliance found on a dedicated dirt bike. Finally, a specially chosen compound mix optimizes grip on both wet and dry roads, while boosting traction in the dirt. The range will be available in North America very early in 2017.
