Southwire Tools and Equipment launches a new line of professional-grade non-contact voltage detectors (NCVs). Southwire’s new line of NCVs includes four models with the features electricians need to quickly identify energized electrical wiring. As with all Southwire meters, these new NCVs are UL-listed.

Our new top of the line 40150N is a dual range NCV that detects voltage down to 12V and all the way up to its CAT IV 1000V rated limit. Built to last, the 40150N is rated IP67 waterproof and also features a powerful worklight.
Our 40136N, 40126N and 40116N are all-new models as well featuring the handy rear facing flashlight you have come to expect from our NCVs. Also standard are a power switch, a green LED to assure the user that they are on and ready for use and a new thinner probe tip to make it easier to test wall receptacles. Plus, they are equipped with a low battery self-test.
