Schneider Electric announces partnership with POWER Engineers

Implementation partnership will help customers maximize value of today’s technologies and prepare for the future Utility Network paradigm

HAILEY, ID (January 23, 2018)–Schneider Electric, the industry leader in geographic information systems (GIS) solutions for utilities and communication providers, announced an implementation partnership with POWER Engineers Incorporated (POWER), a global consulting engineering firm specializing in the delivery of integrated solutions.

With this new partnership, Schneider Electric customers will gain access to an even deeper pool of industry expertise as they prepare for the shift to Schneider Electric’s new ArcFM Solution XI Series as well as Esri’s Utility Network – a new paradigm in the modeling and implementation of utility GIS. Furthermore, customers currently leveraging Schneider Electric’s industry-leading EcoStruxure ArcFM platform will have yet another partner to choose from in the already strong list of best-of-breed Schneider Electric partners when they need help with their solutions.

“We are excited about this partnership with POWER as we continue to help customers maximize the value of today’s EcoStruxure ArcFM technologies while preparing for the next generation of GIS,” said Jay Stinson, General Manager at Schneider Electric. “From improving today’s efficiencies to helping shape the utilities of tomorrow, our customers will have a strong and cohesive partnership to support them as they plan, prepare and act.”

“We feel that the timing for this partnership is perfect,” said Chris Erpelding, Strategic Consulting Department Manager at POWER Engineers. “With our long and successful history of implementing and supporting Schneider Electric software, our extensive energy utility experience and our involvement with ArcGIS Pro and the Utility Network since its inception, POWER Engineers is ideally suited to be a very strong implementation partner for Schneider Electric’s ArcFM solution offering as well as the next generation of ArcFM Solution XI Series.
