The Harlem Local Vendor Program presents Nine Woman Owned & Family Owned Businesses at NY NOW – August 11-14, 2019
NEW YORK – For the first time, a team of nine women owned businesses from the Harlem Local Vendor Program are joining together and exhibiting their products at NY NOW.
The Harlem Local Vendor Program (HLVP), created by Harlem Park to Park in partnership with five leading retail, educational and community development organizations, provides business education, peer networking, and pitch opportunities to small businesses with a connection to the Harlem community.
The summer 2019 edition of NY NOW, the market for Home, Lifestyle, Handmade + Gift, will take place August 11-14, 2019 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center. NY NOW features three comprehensive collections — HOME, LIFESTYLE and HANDMADE — that encompass tens of thousands of products in hundreds of product categories.
Harlem Park to Park, a social enterprise committed to cultural preservation, small business and economic development – selected a carefully curated group of HLVP graduates to exhibit their unique range of original products to buyers from all over the country.
