Beatriz Ball to Introduce New Products at NY NOW
New Orleans, LA ---Beatriz Ball will debut more than 65 new designs at NY NOW. Introductions include exciting new textures and new shapes in the company’s signature handmade metal line, as well as line extensions to the bestselling VIDA collection of luxury melamine. With the launch of NEW ORLEANS, a collection of vibrant gold-tone glass items, the award-winning tableware company enters a new product category.
Beatriz Ball’s signature metal pieces are sand-cast and hand polished to a lustrous shine. Employing ancient techniques and time-honored methods, Ball and her team of skilled artisans continue to push the boundaries of what is achievable in the process. Introductions include additions to the bestselling SOHO collection, such as the richly textured Sakko bowls and platters, the serene and stately Axel bowls, as well as a trio of lively and user-friendly Osaka bowls. The dynamic VENTO collection is extended with the sculptural Claire oval bowl and with two stunning and majestic Volare freeform bowls. New are also the Antler bowls in the WESTERN collection and a frame and serving pieces cast with a shimmering snakeskin texture. Beatriz Ball metalware items are handmade with eco-friendly production methods, using 100% recycled materials.
Beatriz Ball revisits classicism—with a contemporary twist--in the new melamine Charleston collection. The handsome Charleston pieces are distinguished by gleaming dappled surfaces, notched corners, and gently raised borders. Available in blue and in white, the designs fit perfectly with current trends for casual décor and home entertaining. The popular Alegria melamine collection expands with the addition of an ice bucket, ideal for serving bottles of chilled wine. These luxury melamine items are dishwasher safe, heavy-weight, break resistant and durable, food safe, BPA and PABA free.
The vibrant and colorful New Orleans collection in glass represents a new direction and material for Beatriz Ball, but the company continues to uphold its handmade traditions and artistry. With all the color and spirit of the Crescent City’s unique culture, the New Orleans glass items include products with hand applied gold foil, as well as designs with marbled surfaces in gold or blue with swirls of gold.
