COLLINS WINS MULTIPLE MEDALS AT CONSUMER-JUDGED 2019 SIP AWARDS

Mixers and garnish stand out at international blindly-judged competition.

SEATTLE, JUNE 12, 2019: As determined by the selective taste of consumers, three Collins products received medals at the 2019 SIP Awards held in Irvine, California.

  • Collins Grapefruit Margarita won Best in Class Platinum, Margarita Mixer Category.

  • Collins Pickled Asparagus received Gold, Garnish Category.

  • Collins Grenadine earned Silver, Syrup & Cordials Category.

Best Of Class Platinum represents the highest caliber of products in a given category, meeting premium standards and standing apart from the rest of the field.

“We are especially proud of these awards because the judge is the consumer,” said Erin Walsh, Collins Brand Manager. “You can be assured we will make a concerted effort to take our Silver and Gold to Platinum next year.”

SIP Awards is the only international spirit competition with a consumer judging panel, featuring a sample of the general public with diverse representation. Brands compete with hundreds of other entrants across a range of categories including spirits, bitters, mixers and garnishes.

“Collins Pickled Asparagus is unique in our category of winners, so we are looking forward to submitting our new Amarena Cherry and Orange Twist products next year,” said Walsh. “We can’t wait to introduce Collins fans to new premium garnishes and fantastic new flavors.”

Look for Collins award-winning Pickled Asparagus in Walmart stores or ask for it by name at your preferred specialty retailer nationwide.
