Swidget expands their smart home product line and interchangeable Inserts with the introduction of the Wall Switch, available to demo at booth #2164
KINGSTON, ON, CANADA (September 12, 2019) - Creators of the world’s first customizable in-wall outlet, Swidget™, will exhibit the latest addition to their lineup of smart devices, at the NECA in Las Vegas, booth #2164. The Swidget Wall Switch is a revolutionary dimming smart switch that allows for greater personalization of smart homes and offices. By snapping a user’s choice of Insert into the Wall Switch, it enables homeowners to wield the power of an array of smart functions, while also making the lighting in a room or entire office dimmable. It features anti-flicker technology, which prevents fluctuations in brightness of light, and is compatible with Swidget’s modular, functional Inserts, such as the Power Out Light (emergency light), Guide Light (night light), Wi-Fi or Z-Wave Control, Motion Sensor, Air Quality Sensor, Temp/Humidity Sensor, Video Camera and more.

While typical lighting solutions utilize a traditional on/off rocker, Swidget’s Switch has a sleek, decora-style touchpad which provides on and off functions (up and down), as well as dimming options (left and right). At launch, all Swidget Inserts will be compatible with the company’s Switch and Outlet, each device can detect which of the wiring devices they are plugged into. Thanks to the Swidget App (Wi-Fi Inserts only), users can enjoy the same cost-saving, green technology available in the Outlet, which includes power consumption monitoring and the ability to set schedules to automate tasks. Leading into 2020, Swidget users will be able to enjoy new Inserts, such as the real-time HD video camera and speaker Inserts, efficiently operating one’s smart home from the angle and positioning of a wall switch.
