The Made in the USA T-Shirt brand reveals their brand-new designs for 2019 with National Park, wild places and backcountry images.

Asheville, NC (October 10, 2018) - American Backcountry - the North Carolina based T-shirt brand celebrating their 25th anniversary this year - have unveiled their 2019 styles that, true to character, celebrate our favorite National Parks, wild places, and the country’s epic backcountry. Injecting 21 new shirts into the lineup, the prints range from wildlife vistas to odes to camping and are all printed on their signature Repreve Triblend utilizing seven recycled water bottles per shirt.

“We’re really excited to inject something new and fresh into our destination line,” said American Backcountry founder, Frank Hintz. “It’s a little different to what we’re known for, but still celebrates all our favorite public lands.”

The designs, developed by American Backcountry’s new designer, Eric Iovino, are a nod to the younger outdoor crowd without losing sight of the brand’s heritage and personality. Iovino - a Staten Island born tattoo artist - has targeted the millennial age group and injected a range and depth to the line.

American Backcountry has long been known for its Destination Tee Shirt series that highlight and celebrate America's Public Lands, and this year created a limited-edition T-shirt for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy (ATC) and Pacific Crest Trail Association (PCTA) to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the National Trails Act. The design features a ‘hiker guy’ on the front along with the location of both trails in the US, and according to Hintz, is the most special of the new selection.

“Our first few years of being in business were all about our Appalachian Trail shirts selling to the stores around the trail and in National Parks. That was how we cut our teeth. I have a lot of roots with and gratitude for the ATC because of that as they kind of put us on the map.”
