MAYDE Set to Preview Their 2019 Collection at NY NOW
Australia-based textile goods and Turkish towel brand will debut their new range
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA (January 29th, 2019) — Designed in Australia and lovingly made in Turkey, MAYDE is the creative brainchild of husband-and-wife duo Sylvia and Tim Hill. Crafted with heart from 100 percent natural cotton and bamboo materials, the stunning hand-loomed Turkish towels and blankets are aesthetically beautiful and multifunctional, knowing no bounds. MAYDE products can be used as traditional bath/beach towels, blankets, scarves, shawls, baby wraps, post-workout towels and even as indoor or outdoor décor. MAYDE is thrilled to announce that they will debut their 2019 range at NY NOW, Booth 2855, February 3–6, 2019.
This season’s collection will feature popular carry-over styles due to high demand in new and old colorways in their beloved Crescent Towel & Summercloud Towel. Aside from their traditional pieces, MAYDE will introduce styles unique to anything they’ve ever carried before, like new stonewashed waffle towels and new cotton woven throws with large feature tassels.
“There are so many new pieces we are excited to share!” says founder, Sylvia Hill. “We’ve introduced some gorgeous cotton waffle weaves into the collection. This year we are really trying to showcase more of the production techniques of the looms that are used to make all of our products. The cotton is the star in all of our products and the different ways it’s loomed shows throughout our range.”
