The Tea Can Company is a purveyor of premium quality specialty teas and herbal blends packaged with a message that promotes, creates or enhances your identity. We endeavor to make our customers and clients look good – with their own branding, or with custom branding designed uniquely for them.
OUR STORY began in the 1980’s when Donna McCafferty, founder of The Tea Can Company, was an art student at Kutztown University. The Tea Can Company concept came from a class project on branding. Fast forward 25 years to when Donna’s graphic design company was looking for a unique promotional product idea for clients. They presented their first tea package as a holiday gift and the response was overwhelming! Clients loved the concept, the quality of tea and, most of all, the lasting effect of the intended message. One by one, Donna’s client’s and various businesses and organizations began ordering custom tea packages for their companies, weddings and events. That’s when we decided to become tea experts and packaging gurus.
In 2011, The Tea Can Company was established, selling premium quality teas in large tea tins, mini tins, kraft bags and organza bags at various price points to fit any budget. Today, our products are designed and packaged for unique, personal and corporate gifts, souvenirs and bridal favors.
The Tea Can Company sells teas in universities and college bookstores across the country under the Universitea® label. We also have a fundraising program that allows non-profits to sell The Tea Can Company products as a way to help raise funds for schools, churches and charitable organizations.
