Flipside Hats Launches Organic Hat Line for Spring 2019

[Portland, Oregon] Flipside Hats, a Portland, Ore USA-based, hat company, has introduced a GOTS certified organic hat line. Flipside Hats Founder, Creative Director and Naturopathic Doctor Kori Giudici continues to lead the apparel revolution with a line of wellness hats. The hats are designed to provide the ultimate in fashion, comfort and community. Sold and distributed nationally at independent retailers and natural food stores the product provides an eco-efficient alternative to the mass produced imported apparel on most store shelves.

The new line made from 100% GOTS Certified Organic Cotton is available in all sizes and styles for Youth, Women and Men. Designed and tested for on the go lifestyle. The line-up includes Eco Eclipse, a reversible, organic and completely packable wide-brimmed sunhat with UPF 50 coverage. The Driver, a traditional flat cap, fully lined with recycled post- consumer plastic content brim. The Eco Beanie, knit from 100% organic content yarns available in adult and youth size. Finally, the Sprout Beanie a cuffed stretch knit beanie for infants, available in stretch knit organic fabrics.

The new offerings join the best-selling eco efficient line Flipside Hats is known for. Creating a robust line with over 30 styles of hats and accessories available for 2019. The 100% Organic line was born out of the request of our customers, to offer a product that can be stocked year- round nationally and internationally. “It complements our limited edition –re-loved, upcycled program” says Chief Visionary Officer, Jacob Wollner. He goes on “Our large retail partners want the opportunity to offer American made products that change the world. Natural fibers paired with fair wages do just that. From a community stand point we employ fair wages and regional production, reducing the need for carbon rich transportation and in the process creating good wage American jobs. From the environmental impact standpoint, organic cotton avoids the use of carcinogens, toxic pesticides and possible endocrine disruptors. [1] Our customers buy organic foods and they are increasingly aware what they put on their body and into the environment is just as important as what we eat.”

FlipsideHats takes abandoned materials headed for the landfill and pairs them with sustainably-sourced, eco-friendly fabrics, to create long-lasting and limited-edition products. By reusing big brands’ pre-consumer excess, Flipside Hats reduces the world’s fashion waste while inspiring a generation to reduce their impact on the planet.
