LAUNCHING AT NY NOW®
NEW YORK, August 6, 2018 – design loop, a boutique product design and development company, is pleased to announce an exclusive new collection of stationery from Minneapolis-based artist, Ashley Mary. The Ashley Mary Stationery Collection will debut at the upcoming NY NOW summer 2018 market and be on display in the design loop booth (#7856) in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center from August 12-16, 2018.
Painter, designer and illustrator, Ashley Mary, is hopelessly devoted to the idea that the business of play should be a full-time endeavor. Lucky for us, she’s brought a bit of that ‘tude and what "happy messes" can be found in her Minneapolis studio to this lively new stationery collection.
“Work is work enough and it's best done when riddled with pretty things around you. I'm a firm believer in surrounding yourself with little items that bring big joy. Working with design loop is a lot like play time: we swoon over colors, dream about shapes, and explore materials until the collection feels just right. Inspired by the work Ashley Mary does as a painter, these stationery numbers were created for the go-getter who appreciates brassy pizzazz as much as a perfectly color-coded to-do list. Jam-packed with her signature painterly textures, fancy-free colors and free-form patterns, this collab is full of quirky little surprises. Sort of like a piñata at an office party. You know, if piñatas did neat stuff like keep track of your weekly lunch dates, that is.
