Nawrap features many products that are infused with binchotan charcoal. Binchotan is the highest grade of charcoal, and is prized for its natural purification properties. The charcoal is permanently infused within the fabric, enabling it to eliminate the musky scent and bacteria that forms in textiles like dishcloths or bath towels from being consistently damp.
Nawrap first started as a mosquito net manufacturing company. Due to the declining demand for mosquito nets in Japan, they transitioned into making home textiles using similar techniques used to produce mosquito nets. All of the Nawrap products are produced in a factory located in Nara, Japan.
The textiles are woven using a technique that is unique to Japan, making the product unparalleled and non-replicable to manufacturers outside of Japan. All of the products are produced with multiple layers to maximize absorbency, durability, and product lifespan. Nawrap textiles get softer over time and become more absorbent with every use.
Nawrap carries a line of printed textiles, that are printed with traditional Japanese print technology. These textiles feature Japanese designs that are colorful and incorporate aspects of traditional Japanese history. Nawrap’s product offering includes a wide variety of textiles that can suit every individual’s unique style, everything from neutral tones to bright colors.
