CS Unitec’s EKF 645 – a portable beveling machine for metal fabrication – cuts a beveled angle of 45˚ with a max bevel width of 9/16”. It is designed to bevel, deburr and chamfer thicker plates of steel, stainless steel, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. A fine adjustment feature enables slight chamfers when deburring for the preparation of weld seams.
CS Unitec's Beveling Machine has a powerful 19.1 Amp motor with soft start and overload protection. Six (6) indexable carbide milling heads provide a cutting speed of 1200 to 1500 SFPM. Weighing 22.5 lbs., the EKF 645 is ideal for a wide variety of applications: steel fabricators, boilermakers and construction workers can prepare weld seams; mechanical engineers can deburr machine parts, create visible edges and chamfer edges to protect against paint peeling; and moldmakers can deburr contours and internal or external radii and countersink holes from 1-1/2" dia. An optional milling head is available to bevel 30˚ angles.
