St. Louis – November 6, 2019 – Turnkey Technologies, Inc. is preparing to exhibit and discuss the manufacturing capabilities within Microsoft Dynamics 365 enterprise resource planning (ERP) software at FABTECH 2019 in Chicago, which will take place November 11 -14. Turnkey will focus on two Dynamics application suites during the show: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management is a set of modules encompassing financial management, procurement, production and distribution. Optimized for medium to large enterprises, Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management can be licensed as two separate applications: Dynamics 365 Finance, and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management. This allows manufacturers with adequate financial software to acquire and utilize just Dynamics 365 supply chain modules, and vice versa. However, Turnkey recommends pairing both solutions together because they seamlessly integrate with each other and additional products such as Microsoft Dynamics Customer Engagement applications, Office 365, Power BI and third-party applications.
Of course, small-to-medium manufacturers may not need the full extent of functionality found in Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management. For them, Dynamics 365 Business Central might be a better fit.
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central connects manufacturing and service management across finance, supply chain, project management and warehouse management. Though its functionality is more limited than Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, it’s an excellent choice for smaller manufacturers who don’t require all the features included in the larger product. Like Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain Management, Dynamics 365 Business Central integrates with Office 365, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications, and third-party applications.
