Kawasaki’s arc welding robots use state-of-the-art technology to match the quality of an expert welder

Kawasaki’s arc welding robots use state-of-the-art technology to match the quality of an expert welder

Kawasaki’s arc welding robots are equipped standard with arc welding specific software to enable quick and easy programming of the process path.  Adaptive welding functionality is available to modify robot position, weave pattern and speed during welding to fill variable joints.  Their built-in intelligence, flexibility and high accuracy make Kawasaki's arc welding robots ideal for a wide range of arc welding applications.  Kawasaki offers standard and easy-to-use welding interfaces that can be integrated with any major brand of power supply.

Built exclusively for arc welding applications, the BA006N and BA006L robot models use the latest arc welding technology to match the quality of a skilled human welder.  The 6 kg payload model has a long reach of 2,036 mm, compared to the BA006N robot's reach of 1,445 mm. The 45 mm inner diameter of the BA006L robot’s hollow wrist structure allows for through-arm cabling, simplifying cable and hose management. The hollow wrist design is compatible with torch manufacturers’ equipment and can be fitted with dress package cabling to minimize potential interference with other processing and manufacturing equipment.

The centers of the upper arm's length and rotation axis have been separated, allowing wire feeders to be placed in the space behind the upper arm. This provides more operation flexibility and allows joint 6 to operate at higher speeds, increasing productivity. In addition to preventing in process cable snagging, this speeds up onsite programming and eliminates 'cable positioning variables' to make offline programming more efficient and maintenance faster.

The BA006N/L is equipped standard with arc welding specific software to enable quick and easy programming of the process path.  Adaptive welding functionality is available to modify robot position, weave pattern and speed during welding to fill variable joints.  The built-in intelligence, flexibility and high accuracy of the BA006N/L robots deliver throughput for a wide range of arc welding applications.
