NEXT Series of Portable Koike Machines at FABTECH

Buffalo, NY: Koike Aronson Ransome – a global leader in cutting, welding and positioning equipment – will be showcasing their IK-12 Next and Wel-Handy Multi Next machines of the Next series at FABTECH, November 11-14 in Chicago. These portable machines are designed to provide significant efficiency and excellent results without the need for highly skilled operators.

The IK-12 Next is the newest model of the IK series, one of the most popular and longest selling portable gas and plasma cutting carriages in the fabrication industry. With a new digital control panel and body redesign, it offers greater versatility with the ability to cut and weld with the same carriage.  Additionally, a new drive control system enables the operator to set a range of parameters as they relate to each process, reducing set-up time. The machine also features a newly patented “creep mode,” which enables the user to instantly switch to low speed at the start and finish of each run.

The Wel-Handy Multi Next is a high-performing compact portable welding carriage equipped with a powerful drive motor. The machine features multi-position guide rollers that ensure proper alignment with the work piece. It is capable of performing straight line, stitch and weave type welds with the same carriage, and performs a back step while welding to ensure exact wire deposition throughout. Multiple torch mounting configurations are also available to best suit the work piece at hand. Due to the newly developed gearbox it is equipped with, the durability of the best driving system has been secured.

Koike offers a distinct advantage with free in-house software and maintenance training at their headquarters in Arcade, NY. Koike maintains a fleet of service vehicles nationwide, which allow for expedited parts and localized service.

Visit Booth B17021 located within the Welding section in the North Building at FABTECH to be the first to see live demonstrations of brand-new, innovative cutting and welding machines in operation. Koike will run 10 different pieces of functional equipment in the booth, which includes new welding machines that have yet to reach the market.

Koike backs their machines with superior, localized service and support to ensure outlasting performance for years to come. For more information, visit www.koike.com.
