Berg is pleased to announce the development of a new integration platform that will link Berg’s liquor control systems to the Epson’s OmniLink® T88V-i printer. This integration platform makes Berg systems compatible with all POS systems that utilize Epson printers or Epson immolation in their printer communications protocols. This product is the missing link that allows orders placed on the floor to be seamlessly integrated with Berg systems.
This solution expands the capabilities of Berg systems operational integration and allows for the mainstreaming of Berg liquor control products into all venues as part of a total bar service management package. This solution may be retro fitted to all Berg DN level components.
This integrated system streamlines the drink ordering and fulfillment process similar to the kitchen display system in a quick service restaurant:
- Drinks ordered on the floor are routed directly to the Epson OmniLink© T88V-I printer/monitor system at the bartender’s station
- Drink orders appear on the bartender’s monitor in the order they were placed
- The bartender highlights the order on the monitor and then fulfills orders from a Berg system that electronically measures, pours drinks and cocktails according to recipes stored in the Berg system, and records in the POS system
- The drink order is removed (bumped) from the bartender’s monitor queue and the delivery receipt is printed by the Epson OmniLink® T88V-i printer for direct and accurate delivery to the customer
