These units add intuitive wavelength identification, improved reporting features, and Bluetooth functionality to the ODM® portfolio of affordable, easy-to-use fiber optic test instruments.
The RP 560 power meter boasts a wavelength-ID feature that recognizes the incoming wavelength from the DLS 655 or DLS 650 light source. With this added detection feature, the power meter automatically switches to the recognized wavelength, providing a simple interface for performing multiple insertion loss tests faster and more efficiently than before. Test results can be reviewed and edited directly on the power meter and batch-exported or live-streamed to an Android™ or iOS™ compatible device via Bluetooth® communication.
The RP 560, DLS 655, and DLS 650 are part of the ODM® brand of fiber optic test instruments, designed by Ripley Tools in their Belmont, New Hampshire location.
