Jonard Tools® Announces Updates to the RDT-18K Telescopic Pole
Install and retrieve cable in any hard-to-reach place

Jonard Tools, a manufacturing leader in cable tools, has added additional features to the RDT-18K Telescopic Pole. The pole extends to 18 feet and is self-supporting to allow the installer control and accuracy. This tool’s strength and flexibility allow for installation and retrieval of cable in drop ceilings or other hard to reach places.
“The Telescopic Pole is perfectly suited for spanning ceilings and voids with any kind of cable,” says Ed Scirbona, Director of Engineering at Jonard Tools. “Our customers have been asking for a safer, more efficient way of getting to these hard to reach areas and reducing the need for ladders. So, we added even more accessories for our RDT-18K.”
The RDT-18K is constructed with tapered tubes, improved fiberglass, and a polyester resin baked enamel for greater durability and splinter resistance. When not in use, the tool conveniently collapses down to 33 inches. This lightweight Telescoping Pole is less than three pounds and includes two convenient hooks to grab and/or push cables and a special adapter for tight applications. Additional Magtime Magnetic cable holders are available to work in conjunction with the MF-4 Magtime Cable Pole Adapter and hold your cables in place to save you time.
