DynaLantic Corp. Acquires CATI Training Systems

Ozark, AL—DynaLantic Corp. announced today that it has acquired the assets of the Training Simulation Engineering Team (TSET), formerly known as CATI Training Systems LLC., from URS Federal Service, an AECOM company.  TSET will become CATI Inc., a subsidiary of DynaLantic Corp.

CATI is a leading designer and developer of virtual visual environments for flight simulators and a variety of other training systems for the Department of Defense and commercial customers.    CATI is the developer of X–IG® Image Generator Software, a proven Commercial-off-the-Shelf solution to high-fidelity synthetic environment visualization for flight simulators and a variety of training systems.

Vincent Hill, Vice President of Business Development for DynaLantic describes the acquisition of CATI as the relaunch of a highly acclaimed Modeling and Simulation company.  CATI was once featured on the cover of MS&T Magazine after being recognized as one of the industry’s top Simulation and Training companies.  Three of CATI’s creators and founding members will be joining the DynaLantic team. They are Mr. Mike Larkin – Chief Architect of X–IG®, Mr. Rolf Beutler - Director of Engineering and Mr. Pete Obear - Director of Software Engineering.  We are absolutely thrilled to have these industry giants join the DynaLantic team.

Looking to the future, DynaLantic intends to leverage the combined talents and strengths of both organizations to better serve the Training and Simulation Industry, providing cutting edge simulations and virtual reality for synthetic training environments as well as developing new technologies to better meet the training needs of the DoD, commercial and foreign military customers.
