Midwest Employers Casualty announces release of new website, MECasualty.com

St. Louis, MO (September 28, 2018) — Midwest Employers Casualty (MEC) announced today the release of their new website and customer portal, MECasualty.com.

The investment in a new website is a continuation of MEC’s goal to provide insureds and business partners access to unparalleled technology to help lower the total cost of risk in their workers’ compensation program.

“Our new website is an extension of our willingness to invest significant time, money, and resources to achieve better outcomes,” MEC President Tim Galvin said. “We don’t simply write checks when people are seriously injured; we share our claims professionals and technology with insureds to help achieve what we feel are superior outcomes in very difficult claims.”

The website features a newly formatted benchmark report, new interactive XCEL Analytics® reporting, as well as an expansion of claim resources and safety awareness materials.

MEC has applied XCEL Analytics® predictive technology and Claims Advantage services to find problematic claims sooner and recommend innovative and effective intervention strategies to help injured workers achieve better outcomes, and potentially save the insured money within their retention or retained losses.
