TEMPE, AZ, January 23, 2018—Versum Materials, Inc. The event takes place Jan. 31 to Feb. 2 at the COEX Conference and Exhibition Center in Seoul.
For the past 30 years, VMHYT (a Korean entity under the Versum Materials’ Delivery Systems and Services business segment) has supplied a full range of localized delivery systems to the region. Representatives from VMHYT will demonstrate two new pieces of equipment during the exhibition—the GasKeeper™ Intelligent Remote Controller and the Cylinder Automover Transport System.
The GasKeeper Intelligent Remote Controller adds Internet of Things (IoT) technology to control and monitor the VMHYT gas cabinet controller system via a mobile device and observe the inside of unit with a closed-circuit television or surveillance system. The revolutionary robotic technology in the Cylinder Automover Transport System moves and positions heavyweight cylinders between storage areas and gas cabinets, using a joystick control and a proprietary position-detecting system. The precision of the system provides ergonomic safety to increase the productivity of cylinder handlers in semiconductor manufacturing within the sub-fab.
Versum will also showcase ION-X®, a new line of products developed by NuMat Technologies for the safe storage and delivery of subatmospheric dopant gases such as arsine, phosphine and boron trifluoride. With its Metal-Organic Framework (MOF), ION-X can selectively adsorb, store and safely deliver ultra-high purity gases at sub-atmospheric pressures. ION-X offers performance advantages over traditional carbon-based adsorbent technology used in the ion implant processes for the manufacture of semiconductor devices.
