TiMax, a name perhaps more familiar as the immersive audio processor for stage shows around the world, will debut the TiMax VR player at this year’s IAAPA Attractions Expo.
The new TiMax Soundhub VR brings the highest quality audio processing to a dedicated 16 track audio player with the added benefit of proven spatial audio processing and show control.
TiMax spatial audio processing helps to create an immersive sound with accurate imaging even when the speakers cannot be placed in the ideal position. With new challenges to create ever-higher quality experiences using new high-resolution screens with no perforation sound designers face new a dilemma as the speakers cannot be positioned where needed to create sound.
The intuitive TiMax show control software creates a wide variety of soundscape solutions including imaging to allow the on-board audio to create an illusion that the sound position remains still even when the car is spinning. The monster stays in the same bush.
The TiMax VR player is available as a 19” rack unit or in a cabinet with built-in amplification, controller interfaces for MIDI, DMX, GPIO and Ethernet/IP for a simple drop-in-and-go-solution.
