Celebrating 50 years of innovation and great success, Intamin will present several new products at this years Show in Orlando.
Intamin is currently developing a number of LSM Launch Coasters as well as Family Launch Coasters considering the individual needs and demands of different operators. As the leading supplier in the field of launch coasters, Intamin can come up with various solutions. In 2017 Intamin celebrated the opening of many outstanding rides. “Turbo Track” at Ferrari World in Abu Dhabi, a heart-pounding LSM driven Reverse Free Fall Coaster featuring the world’s first combination of a twin-LSM launch system combined with a 0-g air-time hill on the acceleration ramp and “Red Force” at Ferrari Land at PortAventura, Spain, being the highest and fastest LSM Launch Coaster in Europe. Djurs Sommerland, Denmark turns up the heat with “Drage Kongen”, Europe’s longest and fastest Suspended Family Coaster. SeaWorld San Antonio’s newest thrill ride, the Jet Ski Family Launch Coaster “Wave Breaker”, launches you on an exciting adventure as you join the SeaWorld Rescue Team in their quest to help an animal in danger. Divo Ostrov, Russia has opened one of Intamin’s 10-Inversion Coasters in June 2017. Driven by the immense success throughout the world, Intamin looks forward to announcing new openings of LSM Launch Coasters as well as Family Launch Coasters in 2017 and 2018 in Europe, USA, UAE and Asia.
Thanks to the experience of designing such a wide variety of different coasters, Intamin was able to recently come up with a new concept – namely the Multi-Dimension Coaster. This type of roller coaster combines the traditional coaster experience with a number of special effects. Those special effects added to the traditional coaster track make the entire ride an absolutely new and unmatched experience. This type of attraction belongs to the group of cutting edge family coasters, which have proven to be the most popular with all age groups.
Following the success of “Falcon’s Fury” at Busch Garden’s Tampa as the first free fall attraction featuring a sky diving experience, Intamin opened another version of its popular Sky Jump, namely “Ikaros” at Gröna Lund in Stockholm, Sweden.
“Golden Driller” the sensational Giant Multi Drop has successfully opened at Fraispertuis City in France. Standing at 66 meters, Golden Driller is currently the only ride worldwide, where passengers can choose between four different seating positions.
Liseberg Amusement Park in Gothenburg, Sweden started public operation of Europe’s highest and most impressive Gyro Swing named “Loke” in April 2017. At Adventure World in Australia, another Gyro Swing named “Goliath” opened.
