Two legendary protective gear brands have come together as Triple Eight has acquired 187 Killer Pads. This is a great thing for the industry and will make the two brands even stronger and better able to support retailers and riders around the world.
The acquisition is a perfect fit as the product lines, price-points, brand headquarters, distribution, staff and company cultures are largely complimentary. Both brands will continue to operate independently. Triple Eight has been based in New York since 1995. Vinton Pacetti and his team will stay at 187 headquarters in Vista, CA. The two brands will leverage their combined resources to add value to their retail customers.
