Safe-Strap to debut the Remote Sensor Restraint System at 2018 IAAPA Attractions Expo

Orlando, FL, November 13, 2018 – Aimed at revolutionizing amusement ride restraint designs with the
growing safety concerns of the industry, Safe-Strap will introduce the Remote Sensor Restraint
system at the 2018 IAAPA Attractions Expo. This restraint system offers latches that can monitor up
to three sensory feedbacks and provides two separate LED’s to let the ride operator know the status
of the restraint. This innovation was created with both existing rides and new product design in
mind.

Safe-Strap is introducing two models of Remote Sensor Restraint: The RSR features a rider
controlled mechanical latch and release system for self-loading and unloading. The RSR-OKR has the
added feature of an operator controlled release system for unloading of passengers.

“This product is high-tech in its capabilities yet very simple for riders to use.” added Charma
Wilderson, general manager of Safe-Strap Amusement. “Riders can lock & release themselves using the
RSR or Operators can control the release feature using the RSR-OKR. In either application the
operators monitor the restraint during the ride cycle.  It’s like having an extra pair of eyes on
every restraint!”

Safe-Strap will introduce the RSR to the amusement industry with a demonstration to take place at
the Safe-Strap Booth - #4626 on the IAAPA Attractions Expo Trade Show Floor at the Orange County
Convention Center during the show November 13-16.
