Harrison complete multi-million dollar rebrand of Main Event

Following its hugely successful interior rebrand of Main Event Entertainment’s flagship ‘Eat. Bowl. Play.’ restaurant and family entertainment center at Orlando Pointe [Orlando, Fla.], Harrison Architecture & Design is to roll out the new look across the United States as part of Main Event’s multi-million dollar site development program.

The Dallas-headquartered brand and architectural design consultancy, which also has offices in the UK [London and Birmingham] and the Middle East [Dubai], has also been named as a key Design Architect for Main Event’s new site acquisitions.  It will play a major role in engineering and designing the future direction of the ‘Eat. Bowl. Play.’ experience  - America’s fastest growing bowling-anchored restaurant and entertainment brand.

Commenting on the news, Harrison’s Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Keith Anderson said:  “We were originally appointed as conceptual designers to work alongside the Architect of Record at the flagship Orlando Pointe venue, re-imagining the whole Main Event experience at this live site.

“Following Orlando’s outstanding launch in November last year, we have been asked to work on the interior brand design of new site acquisitions in Jacksonville, Indianapolis and Pittsburgh.   We are now also involved in the architectural and brand design of site remodels in Plano, Lewisville and Grapevine.

“All of these venues, which range in size from 55,000 to 75,000 square feet, will be completed this year.”

Harrison’s redesign of ‘Eat. Bowl. Play’ in Orlando is a strong indicator of the future direction of Main Event’s brand and offers a stand-out collection of experiences linked by a common design DNA.  Complete flexibility is built into the spaces so that they attract all of Main Event’s key local customer groups, from the stripped back ‘bowl & bar’ lounge with a focus on the millennial through to the bright and easygoing family-friendly dining experience.  Corporate events of all sizes are well catered for and all the zones place great design at their heart and speak a common language.

Keith Anderson continued: “Our increased involvement with Main Event is a massive endorsement of Harrison’s skills in architectural design and branding and comes on the back of our successful international work for high profile clients such as Wyndham, Pizza Hut, Nando’s Peri Peri and Bloomin Brands.
