Wearable Cooling Capes Take the Heat Out of Kids’ Hot Summers, Provide 50+ UV Protection without Chemicals

On a blistering hot summer day, have you noticed that kids take it easy, slow down and stay indoors more? Neither have we. In fact, in the summertime, children run out the door faster, play harder and remain outside longer—oblivious to the dangers that the scorching sun can inflict.

Kids don’t notice sunburn until it’s too late, when their skin is bright red, swollen and painful. They don’t think about the hazards of extreme heat and high humidity until the symptoms of heat-related illness appear. So parents need to protect them.

Designed by a mom of three active children, Cooling Capes provide sun and heat protection for kids, age 3-12 years, keeping them cool and blocking the sun’s harmful rays, without chemicals and without impeding on summer fun.

How Cooling Capes work:

Made from soft, cooling meshmaterial, Cooling Capes provide UV 50 Sun Protection and have a hood for head and neck sun protection. But the most fun part of Cooling Capes is how they are designed to be soaked in cold water before being worn. Simply soak the cape in the reusable canister provided, wring out, snap a few times and throw cape on for cool relief. The Cooling Cape stays chilled for up to 3-4 hours and helps reduce body temperature. Re-soak and repeat as needed for an instant cool-down.

For boys and girls, Cooling Capes come in unisex designs of 25 colors and patterns with fun sayings (Too Cool for the Pool, #SummerShade and Just Wanna Have Sun, and many more), in sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and baby sizes 3-6 months, 6-12 months and 12-24 months. The high-density polyester/nylon cooling mesh fiber is super absorbent, breathable, hyper-evaporative and dries soft, unlike PVA material that dries to cardboard. Cooling Capes are silky soft and not dripping wet, even when soaked with water.

Pliable enough to be easily folder and store in the canister, Cooling Capes are portable and perfect for families on-the-go. Take Cooling Capes to the beach, lake, amusement park, sporting events, playgrounds or even the backyard. Easily machine washable in cold water, with similar colors, lay flat to air dry or tumble dry low.
