Suzan Lind Art Licensing and Design, LLC (“SZL”) is a boutique art licensing agency based in the New York metro area. Artist/Owner, Suzan Lind, celebrates her seventh year exhibiting at Surtex--2018 marking her first as an official agency. “This year, I am super excited to showcase the fantastic work of SZL artists,” says Suzan, “and I am proud to say, each of them now has licensed properties with deals signed first quarter, 2018.”
Representation by SZL includes: character illustrations by Eric Sturtevant of RI, contemporary figurative watercolors by Nancy Moore of CT, mehndi art by Bhavna Naik of MD, and watercolor/oil scenes and florals by Kala of Norway. Combined with Suzan’s own art, SZL offers over 1,000 images and patterns, a diversity of properties encompassing a wide range of subjects.
Surtex has proven to be an invaluable venue for Suzan to meet new clients and strengthen existing relationships. “It’s important to me to have face-to-face meetings,” says Suzan, “and I think this goes in both directions. People come to see what’s new, and they also want to know who they are/might be working with.”
Besides new talent, Suzan will be showcasing her new vivid florals, butterflies, and photoplay images. “I like to save my newest work for the companies who make the trek to Surtex,” says Suzan, “They deserve a first look and I hope to WOW them this May!”
